Symptoms and conditions that can be treated
Grinberg Method® is an educational method that teaches through the body. It is not addressed to people with severe physical conditions, nor to illnesses that need medical or psychiatric care.
Grinberg Method® does not pursue any ideological or mystical line and does not require any particular lifestyle.
Development of a one-on-one process of the Grinberg Method
Starting: defining your aim
A one-on-one process begins with your own aim. It can be chronic pain, an annoying sensation, recovery from an injury, accident or operation; it can be a change in a habit, a humour, in the way you relate to others, to money, to time, etc.; or it can be that you want to increase some quality such as clarity, strenght or flexibility, etc.
During the first session, a foot analysis is carried out in order to clarify your aim and to collect all the information I will need to work properly.
Most of the time we are standing over our feet and the way we use the body is reflected in the feet. Through the foot analysis I can have a glimpse about the way you move, the regions of your body with an excessive effort as well as the weak areas.
Usually once we meet once per week for a one hour session. Through touch and instructions on breathing and movement, I will teach you to pay full attention to your body, to identify unnecessary efforts that you are creating and that are preventing you to achieve your aim, to drop off these efforts, to let the body work freely.
As each person is unique, the way I approach each client is customized depending age, personal conditions, needs, and also on your own learning pace and capacity in each moment.
The results and the end of the process
The success of the process depends largely on your involvement, your eager to learn and your personal motivation to achieve your aim. The goal of the process is that you can get control and the ability to stop what is limiting your wellbeing (not only to relieve temporally some symptom).
The duration of the process is hard to be precisely determined because it depends on many factors as the characteristics of your aim, the amount of time that you are carrying the symptoms, your learning capacity and pace, etc. The duration use to range from a few sessions (from 2 to 4) to some months. As a general guidance, with 4-6 sessions you should notice real changes in your symptoms or in your general wellbeing.
A successful process ends when you achieve your aim and you are able to apply the learned tools in your daily life.
